In the News: Dr. Neel Mehta’s Interview on Unusual Chronic Pain Treatments In Multiple Outlets, Including ASA

Neel Mehta, MD, was recently interviewed by Prevention magazine to discuss unusual and unexpected treatments for chronic pain. Spider and bee venom, electricity, and sugar were a few of the many unusual methods doctors are currently using to treat pain. Dr. Mehta discussed which methods were viable, which were not, and how doctors are actually using these treatments.

The Prevention interview was picked up and converted into an interactive feature by MSN. Additionally, the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ regular newsletter also picked up the story on April 8, 2015.
