Congratulations to the Anesthesiology Department's recently-appointed Chief Residents for 2016-17. Drs. Dan O'Neill and Beth Starker step into their new roles on July 1.
Dr. Starker grew up in New Jersey and majored in biology at Hamilton College. She returned to New Jersey to earn her MD at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. O'Neill is from Long Island and studied history at Yale. He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania.
Reflecting on their new roles, Drs. Starker and O'Neill say they look forward to serving as advocates for the residents. "We will work hard to make sure that you feel comfortable coming to us with your concerns and suggestions at any time," they write in their mission statement.
